Inspired by the raw, ever-changing coastline of Cornwall, this series of oil pastels captures the vibrant life of the clifftops. The creamy, buttery texture of the pastels allows me to layer rich pigments. Each piece is a tactile record of the light and energy I found while working en plein air by the sea.
